(MoHFW)The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has announced a reduction in the qualifying percentile for NEET MDS 2024. As per the official notification, the ministry has decided to lower the qualifying cutoff percentile for NEET MDS 2024 by 21.692 percentile for each category. The NEET MDS qualifying cutoff 2024 for General, UR PwD, SC, ST and OBC category has been reduced for the Master of Dental Surgery courses. The NEET MDS revised cutoff 2024 has been reduced in order to fill the vacant seats for MDS counselling in 2024.

“I am directed to say that this Ministry has decided to lower the qualifying cut-off percentile for NEET-MDS, 2024 by 21.692 percentile for each category (General, SC/ST/OBC and UR-PWD) in pursuance of DCI’s MDS Regulations, 2017 and 2nd proviso in clause 7(1) of DGI’s Master of Dental Surgery course (Ist Amendment) Regulations, 2018.” Reads the official notification.
The ministry has notified the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to announce the revised NEET MDS result in 2024 with lowered qualifying percentiles and urged the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to take the necessary actions based on the revised results.
